How to tell your Ex that you already need the money he borrowed?

But my friend lawyer told me great advice: she said don't wait too long because the courts might interpret that you have forgiven him I don't know if it's too late for the main person of this post, but it's worth a try. Ps. You don't need a lawyer for small claims court. You can do it by yourself. I did, and in no time at all, weekly cheques from his garnished wages started rolling in. Was awesome.
