@Suchmeh
OK, you've probably heard this a few times before but I think it bears repeating:
1. Depending on alcohol to elevate a mood can mean a whole host of things including you may have a genetic predisposition making you especially vulnerable to addiction. You could be seriously depressed.
2. If you have the pressing need to drink frequently then most likely you are addicted.
3. If either #1 or #2 are true, you are an alcoholic.
You deserve happiness in your life that is not connected with dependencies. You also deserve to find folks or organizations that treat you with respect in treating the addiction such as Alcoholics Anonymous and doctors and therapists with training to provide help . . .
[c=#800000]provided you have reached a point in your life you want help and willing to go get it.[/c]
Best of luck to you!

@lily88mercy I am depressed, but I'm not trying to be self pity-ing. I usually see a counselor during the semesters at school so if I don't get better I'll bring it up.
And thank you
And thank you

Alcohol has now hijacked the pleasure centres in your brain, and made it more fun to drink than so anything else. That shift is only repairable by COMPLETELY quitting drinking and your mind will now try to fool you that you can go in half measures and manage it yourself. You cant.

It's odd, because alcohol is a depressant. You must be the extremely nervous type.
Plumouter · 26-30, M
@PrivatePeeks basically, lol. It's kinda both, sometimes it's better sometimes it's worse
Fernie · F
you are on a very slippery slope kiddo
Fernie · F
and that is you being on the top of a slippery slope...you're only headed down. Alcoholism is in your future when you start drinking early in the day and THINK you can't have fun without booze...classic start to losing your life to booze.Don't think you're different...you're not. Been there

I don't wanna be on that path, I'm trying. I just dunno :/

Because you ain't happy doing anything else.

@Unquestioned basically :/
