Well I'm certainly not willing to let the powerful live by their 'code of honor' - if that's what you'd suggest. Court judgments can always be appealed and even over-turned. Most cases involving lottery-style amounts involve pretty serious torts.

I think it depends. There's some lawsuits that aren't only justified but end up making situations better for others.
