What is the first phase of a relationship?

CheshireCatalyst · 36-40, M
Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

@CheshireCatalyst That's beautiful.

When a man and a woman meet and fall in love, they develop certain hormones in the body that contribute to the perception of the world in bright colors. At this moment everything in man seems beautiful: appearance, voice, even character shortcomings seem surprising. In this period, in no case should you take any fateful decisions. This can be compared with the loan that you receive at the bank.
SW-User
@Darina Well said.

Definitely friendship: listening to music together, walking and chattering about anything and everything.
Of course a lot depends on the definition of a relationship. When I was about fifteen this girl went out of her way to walk to school with me. Her chat was more educational than the hours that followed. Occasionally in bed by myself at night, we'd have a relationship.
SW-User
@alan20 Well. Do you feel analysed? I take your words at face value and sometimes they can fire up an analysis subconsciously.
If you're allergic I'd suggest to not give up too much of your words.

@SW-User You're taking me a bit seriously. Your advice though would be my own. Believe it or not I try to heed it!
SW-User
@alan20 :) Okay.
DIMaverick4 · 41-45, M
I dont know what it is but i think what it should be is "can't keep your hands off each other or keep your clothes on" phase ;)
DIMaverick4 · 41-45, M
@SW-User are you in that phase?
SW-User
@DIMaverick4 I am in no phase, lol!
DIMaverick4 · 41-45, M
@SW-User ok just asking ;)
LightPinkLace · 56-60, C
Hopefully friendship, built on trust. Then slowly, the other layers are added in until you have a wonderful, strong foundation, with love interlaced, tying it all together.
SW-User
@LightPinkLace Lovely.
alan20 · M
This is not an answer to your question. I was clumsy earlier. I'm sorry if I caused offence,
SW-User
@alan20 not at all. 🙂

@SW-User ☝
I need you, I can't be without you. (Not true, you can survive without that person). That's what I truly think.
SW-User
@TotallyMe5 So exaggeration. :) True.
StokedFox · 36-40, F
Developing trust. For me anyway, but that's probably why I'm always alone.
