Is being a "lone wolf" really such a bad thing?

Why is it so bad to just not want to constantly be around people and prefer to do things on your own?

For some the term "lone wolf" is synonymous with "psycho killer" though I know 2 such people who are as sane as anyone else, but just prefer the peace and quiet of being alone.

People fear that which they do not understand.

Not really. Most bright people are lone wolves because they know the difference between things. They don't find thrill in what others do in groups.

Regarding how people see them, it's a matter of perception. Many great inventors and scientists were lone wolves.

Though I have quite a good number of people around me, I'd prefer to be left alone.

I am a lone Wolf and I know people have punished me for that.
Perhaps it is about not understanding that which is different.

Nothing wrong with being a lone wolf, for the most part, people suck. 😜

@Jeephikelove Very true. People just complicate things.
No. I’m a lone wolf most of the time. The only difference is I’m not going to go on a spree.

@MsAnnThropy That's the other thing.... why do people associate lone wolves with those who go on killing sprees?

There are lone wolves with a preference for privacy and the other kind with a hidden agenda (this is usually the one who goes around killing people or causing some type of harm).
@iMystery I don’t know. Why do most people associate an angry woman with her period?

@MsAnnThropy 😂 Good one
