What causes you to want to befriend someone on here?

its all about having a connection

if I talk to them in Q&A and think we'd get along. doesn't happen often though.

If I see someone around a lot and they write compelling stories/questions or respond to me, I snoop around on their profile, and if I like them I say hello. Some people I befriend and some I don't, but it's a pretty standard process I think.

I guess it's when they "get" me and I them

Typically we get along really well. It's great for a few days. Then one of us gets dramatic. Or both. Then they're gone.

Don't have any friends here. But there are few members that seem really cool to talk to but I'm too shy lol

Same reason I choose friends in real life, I like them. They make a connection to me or I with them.

If I interact with them regularly and admire them.
