true colors are often hidden, for sure.
As an aside, I once (it was winter 2009 during the Obama inaugural week) ate dinner in a restaurant next to Cyndy Lauper and her band/entourage. She looked exhausted but put on her polite face when a diner would approach her with a kind word or autograph request. I respected her privacy and allowed her time to enjoy her dinner.
