Yup, I am now officially barren.

Early this year I had a total hysterectomy.

Like I mentioned before, I had uterine fibroids. I had a whole lot of them. Way too many of them.

They were causing me a lot of pain, and some other issues, so I requested a hysterectomy to have them removed.

Along with the fibroids, my uterus, cervix, and fallopian tubes were removed as well.

Thankfully, I was able to keep both of my ovaries, and as a result, I have not had to experience early menopause.

Getting a hysterectomy was one of the best decisions that I've ever made in my life, and I wish that I had had the courage to request one years ago.

@smiler2012 Thanks! :) I don't feel like any less of a woman. I've never felt as if my reproductive organs were the only things that make me a woman.
