I deleted it when I found out that it queries your phone鈥檚 state far more frequently than other apps, to the point that your battery life is affected. It鈥檚 basically a tool for the Chinese government to track the daily lives and movements of Americans.

I guess I'm too old to get TikTok, to me it just sounds like Vine with a fresh coat of paint.

@basilfawlty89 It's worse. Vine was cancer, but there was a small amount of good content to come out of Vine. It paled in comparison to how much bad content there was, but it was there. When Vine hit the dirt, music.ly became its pseudo replacement, and when that died too, TikTok married the two together and became the monstrosity of cringe and bullshit that it is.
