I’m so sorry . I had to put my baby down about 4 years ago . It still hurts . But she was so sick and was suffering . I hated it but the vet was very kind . He sedated her first , then let me boo hoo and hug her for a while ... then finally the lethal dose . He brought her “ box “ to the house . It’s never easy

I'm so sorry. I hope there's a miracle and your dog gets more years. Sadly it's never easy to say goodbye. With my dog who passed last I swore to myself I'm never getting another dog of my own again. I'm fine with the family dog or if an SO has a dog, but not getting one of my own ever again. If that makes sense.

@heavyone2 it really is. The worse thing it's my daughters dog..shes having a meltdown. I think I'll be ok, but she is the one im worried about.
