All republicans running for office are automatically christians........in the minds of "christians"...and anyone who isn't a Republican is the devil. @softspokenman Nothing the Bible says phases a Republican. Jesus said to feed the hungry...clothe the naked...house the homeless....and cure the sick. He said to love (all) others as you love yourself and God. He said whoa be to those that persecute the little children.

Now ask yourself. When is the last time you heard a Bible thumping "Christian" Republican say he was in favor of food stamps for the poor? That they wanted the poor to have access to healthcare? That they cared if veterans even had housing? How about the sick and old and disabled being able to still get one meal a day with Meals on Wheels??
