Trump's basic tactic is to create as much turmoil, confusion and conflict as he can. He makes incendiary statements to pit Americans against each other, by politics, by race, and anything else. He fires off idiotic tweets ('Let's invade Venezuela!" "Let trade Puerto Rico for Greenland.") to create uproar and confusion.
This tactic is a distraction move. Trump is trying to distract the populace from his real purpose which is to gain money and power for himself and enrich the billionaire class. He also has ties with Putin and the Russians who want conflict and turmoil in the United States.
The way to counter Trump is remember we all Americans: [b]United We Stand, Divided we Fall. [/b] Whatever our differences in politics, color, religion, we are all citizens united by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

BTW If there is any socialism in the U.S. it is for the wealthy, in the form of bail-outs, subsides and tax-dodges. In the U.S. We have socialism for the rich and unrestrained capitalism for everyone else.

If you think that program is bad public policy then you are free to vote against it and support the candidates of your choice. Personally I support the Green New Deal proposal. We are free to disagree with each other. What we MUST NOT do is tell other Americans you do not have a choice and turn on each other with hatred and conflict. @hippyjoe1955 BLM is about police killings of unarmed African-American people. Agree with BLM or not, in this country citizens have Constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech. They have a right to their views just as you and I have. That's how Freedom of Speech works: either everyone has it or nobody has it.

@badminton No one is talking about having an opinion. I am talking about destruction of private property to achieve your goals. Of course no one in BLM believes in private property or private enterprise. They believe as did Obama "You didn't build that".
