I never had a calling...

I was 17 senior and everyone in the cafeteria in my grade... i swear had applied for college except me. Had all their forms... I didnt understand. I literally was searching for those who werent. But I was the only one at my school and I felt so miserable and left out because I knew I wasnt going to make it. Then I fell into depression and never graduated. I never had a calling.

I feel sad all of a sudden... because I remember everyone had someone and I had no one to rely on.

Majority of my life. Any play I was in growing up as a kid... I was so hurt because no one came to watch me. You know that one kid who looks into the audience and cant find their parents. That was me. Because no one showed up.

I have been through worst. Infact people who i studied with from kindergarten to highschool left me to dry out. I once had to give an entrance or sats exam. They didn't tell me about the study material nor the course about it. I ended up giving the exam with only my common sense. I was chosen for those limited seats. That day i realised that i never had a real friend no matter i know them since past 20 years or more. I am just like a Wolverine or John wick lonely and no love.

@SW-User not sure if worse. I grew up with the same people... and didnt have a best friend. Kidnergarden til hs as well.
You know, many people have several careers in their lives. The whole point of it is to choose something that you like instead of going to a job you hate every day. It doesn't have to define you but you at least need to be comfortable with it. And if you are comfortable with it and it comes naturally and easily to you, you will likely be good at it and thus you'll make more money than the average person on the field.
You know there are career assessment tools and tests that can help you determine a career path that you both like and are likely to be successful at.

Yeah I get ya. Sometimes we just gotta deal with the cards we've been dealt, I was like that as well. I didn't even find a sense of meaning or purpose until last year. Life isn't what we're taught it is, we just get taught an ideal.

Chin up :)

You have yourself, and that's a wonderful thing. Hugs Em. Don't be sad, because it doesn't mean you're not a valuable person. You're just as important as anybody else and don't let anyone make you feel you're not!

I'm sorry you experienced that as a kid. I never felt that call either, and only recently have I accepted my mundane job for what it is and looked for happiness outside of it 💙🤗

That really sucks, i'm sorry. I must admit i've never had that calling for a career job either, i've just taken what i could alone the way.
I think you would make a GREAT actress. I think it just might be your calling. When you get famous, don't forget me. I'm gonna want your autograph.

If time could be cheated,
I'd have been your bff, and we could have given "the bird" to all of those overachievers.
-and then laughed about it, sharing a spiv. 🤗😎

I thought I had found mine, but apparently 'professional sleeper' is not so much a calling as it is just being lazy...
