If your heart has ever been badly broken, did it ever heal completely?

Yes, it's broken now. But... Sw kind of helps heal me more. It's my only support now.

Well it healed enough for me to enjoy life and find peace.. so it's ok.. It left a scar.. and I think that's always going to be the case with something that hurts us so badly.. We can love again.. if we are willing to try.. some aren't.. But it will get to the point where it doesn't hurt so much x

Yes my heart has been broken, completely smashed.
It is healed, but just like when you have had a badly broken bone, it still aches at times. I have to be more careful with it now...

a broken heart heals slowly, it scars so much more than say, a hand, but the feeling grows with care.

A heart doesn't ever heal completely, if you meant it. You just learn to guard it better with your mind

The sooner you move on the quicker it heals.

It may sound silly. But it took me over 20 years until I reconnected with her on Facebook. Once I found out she thought of me as much as I did of her. I was finally able to heal.

Yes, it has.. took a long time but now I have insecurities which are not healthy so I feel incapable of loving anyone ever again.

A broken heart never heals completely. Best we can hope for is that it gets easier to live with as we move forward in life.

Yes it does, but as with all wounds it can leave scars that can remain sensitive for a long time (even for life).
