Have you ever heard of married couples living in different dwellings without intent to separate or divorce?

Just cause it works better for them?
RamblerM
Yes. Sometimes for practical reasons, sometimes because that鈥檚 the only thing that works. There鈥檚 no one way to live.

I have actually heard of that, it's rare but it does happen. There are married couples who have twin beds in their bed room, and some who even have their own separate bedrooms too. I personally couldn't imagine not sharing a bed, a bedroom, or even a house with my wife...but it does seem to work better for some couples.

Yes, I worked with a woman who lived separately from her husband. They were rich. They used to vacation together though. Lol. She had a mansion of her own and so did he.

i think we are a good couple i just can鈥檛 take that he鈥檚 a slob and insists on it despite my frustration. I don鈥檛 wanna divorce but i spent much less time cleaning when i was living on my own. @Whyme

I don't even get that. Why even be married then?

Must be a good reason somewhere - apparently it happens and it works @SW-User
Francoise Hardy and Jacques Dutronc have done this for decades.

Only temporarily. A couple I knew lived in different states while she finished school, paid for by her employer in their home state. It was about 18 months total. But they visited each other often.
