I think it's a conspiracy to stop lower/middle income people having babies because they can't afford them, so they'll die out and only the rich will be left... nah actually I dunno, it feels too complicated to understand but it's depressing because it feels like it's only getting worse

@HotSouthernMess I have been talking to some work colleagues around your age and we were all saying hi high rents have got where i live vs wages. Then there is electricity which has gone up 10 fold in as many years. No wonder so many of them still live at home. I hope you are able to find a good place to live.

Makes no sense to me. I'm going to turn my ideas into reality and go on living with as little as possible. The ways of the world consist of mindless routines to comfort seekers of stability and consistency. At least, thats my opinion.

@ViciDraco I guess it is kind of a vicious cycle..people earn more cost of living increases..but during recession or dull economic activity...prices do correct. But anyways , it is the poor who faces the most burnt.

@Winnie prices don't correct that much. Especially rent. When people stop buying horses they need places to rent so rent doesn't really go down. When house prices rise, so does rent.

What has been happening is that both spouses need to work, or people need to get roommates. Young folks are living with parents significantly longer because they can't afford to move out.

The correction has all been people sacrificing quality of life.
