President Trump needs to learn to 'refrain from commenting' on some things.

I'm listening to the propaganda networks have a field day with the president's comments about the alleged death toll from hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. The way the anti Trump power structure works, and the way the propaganda networks operate, leads me to believe he may very well be correct, but there are some things that a 'president' should keep to himself. "Discretion is the better part of valor." The only thing I can imagine, is that perhaps President Trump knows that this is a good time to get the TLBB ( Tender Little Blossom Brigade) worked up into a frenzy so they will say or do something unprecedentedly stupid or deceitful . He' kind of tricky that way.

Mid-terms are approaching.

Does the public feel they have more money in their pocket ?
Are enough people managing to find work ?
Are they paying less in taxes ?
Are their pensions growing ?
Is crime on the reduction ?
Have the baby-boomers encountered any specific problems since their retirement ?
After the attempt to reform Medicair, are things better/worse or about the same ?

My guess the answer to ALL those questions is NOTHING has changed !
So he needs to frequently retreat to base and 'preach to the converted'.
Unfortunately this also puts him in bullshit territory. This is where you get the Puerto Rico type comment; 'my inauguration was bigger than your inauguration'...etc.

If he could just ONCE say that he wasn't making ANYTHING worse, i think that would satisfy enough.
@softspokenman Dang! Don't you get dizzy with all that spinning?
@softspokenman You see. The people who like Trump see things differently than the people who dislike Trump! People who don't like Trump are angry. It's normal to be angry when things don't go the way you want them to. What matters is how you deal with that anger! Come sit next to uncle puck, and lets sing a song together! Ah one! Ah two...ah one two three four....and

I don't see you denying anything that I said. What I do see is 'Uncle Puck Head' in denial of the truth and trying to use childish behavior to justify it just like his beloved leader does. @puck61

Trump is Trump. He will always punch back when people take swipes at him. The problem is, he can be baited like a bear. During the election debates Hillary knew that and baited him frequently.

This mayor in Puerto Rico is probably looking at losing her next election, and one of the new democratic political ploys is to try to make yourself look good by criticizing Trump. In her case, it's not working. She mismanaged the distribution of supplies in her city during the hurricane and started blaming Trump way back then.
@4meAndyou I know. It was the incompetent Puerto Rican power structure that really hurt them, but I have a bias 'for' Puerto Rico, not against. I think Puerto Rico should get an extra scoop of ice cream to be perfectly honest.
4meAndyou · F
@puck61 I will vote for the extra ice cream also, but for the people...not for incompetent politicians.
@4meAndyou Exactly! That's what I'm screaming!

POTUS should comment wisely, measured and with intelligence. Much of this is laced with lack of empathy, insincerity and frankly BS. His good ideas and comments are lost is a sea of poor unintelligent rhetoric. In that regards he gets what he deserves. Defending him and observing the WH defense has been one series of comedies. His legacy is to further polarize our nation, normalizing inane and reactive behavior and encouraging the backlash of far left liberals (and conservatives).
@4meAndyou You said, "You can't really call them liberals, because there are calm, reasonable liberals who have thought out their positions very carefully, and it is just not the same animal...." Exactly, that's why I refer to these care bear fascists as "pseudo liberals". I am not unaware of the good work that real liberals have been involved in throughout US history. These are just sore losers with a fabricated ax to grind.
4meAndyou · F
@puck61 I'm happy to say that you are correct.

Declassification next week, the left is finished. The Obama evil and his weaponization of US intelligence agencies will be in plain view. Comey, McCabe, Strozk, Ohr, Rosenstein are all going to jail. So many more will be going to jail including many media members. Obama should go to jail as well. The paradigm is shifting from illusion to reality. The left has run out of fairytales to spin, game over next week.
@therighttothink50 God I hope so, but in all honesty that sounds about as likely as the Trump impeachment fantasy. If what you say is true sir, that would be like the best Christmas I ever experienced to the millionth power. I would love for something to shut the Tender Little Blossom Brigade up for good! Something that would make them all crawl into a hole and stay there!
That is pretty much normal, his needing to shut up. He thinks he revs up his base but forgets it was more than his base that got him elected, a lot of those people in the middle helped and they are not into his hyperbole.
@Zonuss I actually have a lot. I can make snares, and impromptu compasses and such. I know how the moss grows heavy on the north side of trees, I know what plants are edible and which are poison. I know the same about fungus's. I know how to fire at the bottom of my breath and hit my target. I know how to protect myself even as an unarmed cripple. I'm familiar with the classics, and the philosophers, and ancient writings from Hammurabi to Moses and beyond. I have extensive knowledge of both abstract and concrete subjects geography and anthropology to Latin and old school rhetoric.
I know enough to know that a 'little' knowledge is a dangerous thing. I have some capacity for remote viewing. My strengths are discernment and insight, and I know not to judge by appearances. I am a deliberate person, and I know when hesitation spells doom otherwise I would not be alive.

@puck61 You're blowing hot air. Just a brainwashed rhetorical redundant buffoon.
@Zonuss You're a brick wall. I give you gold and you choose dross! Your loss.

You don't see him as managing the "unprecedentedly stupid and deceitful" line? Or is he just "leading by example."?
Your average moron could work out that in a poorly developed place like Puerto Rico with such widespread dislocation of basic infrastructure they would have been finding bodies for a month, then there are the ones that were never found that had to be reported and accounted for.
However, to be fair, Trump is an exceptional moron.
But as long as there is a headline that doesn't have him name on it, we can count on him to provide.

Remember, Folks: If you're killed during Hurricane Florence, or die neglected in the aftermath, please try to expire in a manner that reflects favorably on trump.

You're an idiot!
@DEEfiant .........go scream at the sky!

Well said. If you there now for one second that class doesnt matter then you had better guess again. Id never applaud Obama if he acted this way.
@Zonuss Sweet dreams, enemy mine! May we both build golden bridges upon which we each retreat.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@puck61 LOL!😆
@Zonuss I don't know, man. What are you all about? Forget the partisan bullshit for a while. What are 'you' all about? What do 'you' want?
Trump just enjoys trolling people. He lies about this stuff all the time because it upsets people and derails the discussion.
