@MushroomFaerie Dogs can usually be trained. Cats, never had any luck with. Dogs can be made to believe it's YOUR furniture. Cats know it's theirs.

@MushroomFaerie Yeah. I'm told the trick is to provide them with stuff they like to scratch better. And never show any affection for your furniture or they'll wreck it out of sheer spite.

A couple of times I've seen little Sandbar sharks washed up on our beach. I will pick them up put them on my board and paddle them out past the break.. They do bite every once in awhile..
