@MushroomFaerie Dogs can usually be trained. Cats, never had any luck with. Dogs can be made to believe it's YOUR furniture. Cats know it's theirs.
@Mamapolo2016 they're cats and they are young, I just pulled a claw out of my new leather dining chairs

@MushroomFaerie Yeah. I'm told the trick is to provide them with stuff they like to scratch better. And never show any affection for your furniture or they'll wreck it out of sheer spite.
