How would you pack your lunch to not to starve if you had to leave your house at 7AM and come back at 11PM and you dont want to buy food???

I'd probably put in some bars of some sort like Lara bars and protein bars, nuts seeds, an apple.
They make a handy size soft side canvas lunch box, sold at Wal-mart. Has a plastic tray w/lid that slides into the bottom. I pack my spouses lunch. Start the night before with 2 bottled waters, open then and pour out about an inch...then freeze them. Pack a sandwich in the tray w/lid. 2 Fruit, yogurt, nuts in baggie, candy/energy bar, small Gatorade, both frozen waters, peanut butter on cracker packs, and string cheese (other cheese) in top compartment. Microwavable soup or other microwavable side gets put out to take as well.

The key is to vary the fruit and sandwich meat selections as well as the yogurt and soup flavors.

If you are packing for your spouse include a little note to perk them up when they find it.......

Take a sealable cup of yogurt, berries and granola, a piece of whole wheat toast with avocado pears. For lunch a salad with wild rice, salmon(Or any other protein) and greens.. Peel and cut carrots and celery for snacking.. and a bag of nuts and fruit. During winter take a soup with croutons or a tortilla soup with chicken and tortilla chips...
I'd be careful of a lot of health bars sold in the supermarket. If you want a substantial meal replacement, visit peakhealth.com.... They do a shake and a health bar that's a balanced meal replacement at about $3.50 a pop. I used to take the shake and it was really substantial

That is a long day, you may not like my answers - Protein and more protein - hard boiled eggs, cheese, dried sausage, nuts, lara, kind bars and some sort of dried fruit - like apple rings....

@SW-User I had to cut all flour, rye and barley 1.5 years ago due to celiacs... quite a challenge...

@fun4us2b well, thank god I don't have that... I just don't want that white flour glue in my intestines anymore...whill only bake sprouted wheat bread myself, period.

@SW-User I agree - it's bad stuff they brought us up on...I feel way better without it, and I think everyone would....

At least two snacks that don't need refrigeration, and one item for the main lunch that can slowly thaw to be properly warmed up somewhere.

Sandwich, fruit, chips, yogurt, granola bar, drink. I can space it out so I'm not hungry.
