I don't think anyone will compare to my ex of 4 years...

The failure of us was generally my fault (didn't cheat btw)
He doesn't want a reunion, never has, even tho he says he loves me too.
I have moved on...because i had to, but my current mate doesn't compare. I love my mate but I don't want to say good bye forever to my ex one day.

What can i do?

There isn't much you can do if he doesn't want to get back together. Sometimes we have to love people from afar, it sucks I am sorry I can relate ((hugs))

This is so relate-able for me; sounds like my ex of 5 years. And it was predominantly my fault too. I don't think anyone could ever emulate the kind of love I felt from her.

She doesn't keep in touch with me, no.

I guess, for me.. I just feel like regretting and mulling over our past isn't something she'd want for me. She wants me to move forward with my life; and not be chained by the memories we shared. :) There are times were I falter in doing that but it mostly works for me.
