What are your thoughts on dating apps/websites?

I haven't made an account for any of those dedicated apps or sites, but a few of my friends ended up marrying the person they met on Match.com. One has been with her boyfriend for over three years and they met on Tinder! I think it depends on the kind connections you form and the chemistry that's there with whoever you end up meeting.

Tried tinder once--I met some real nice folks.

I didn't find them to be of any use. had some friends that insisted I join one, took the compatibility test for fun... then it turned all awkward when the site scored me as more compatible with his wife than he did. and we never spoke of it again. well.. till today.

I don`t think the wife would be too amused. :p

Most of these are scams to get your money. Most of the models they show you are fakes. There have been a number of arrests made of people putting these sites together.

been on one. ended up being like tinder nothing but sex and hook ups and sex chats wanting pics and stuff.

Never a paid account, just the free accounts. They send me tons of emails saying that women have sent me messages, but I have to join a paid account to see them.

I thought about joining Grindr.

I have no idea as I've never used them.
