Breaking Up With Someone You Love

You love yourself enough to know that even though it is not what you would have preferred, you had to make the right choice for yourself. If it was meant to be, then it would have worked out. This does not necessarily mean that either one of you were at fault. It just means you both have different preferences. Nothing against the other person. It is a life decision that was necessary. We have to love ourselves enough to trust our instincts and that we did the right thing. You did exactly the right thing, in that you trusted yourself and you told yourself the truth, which is something many are not very good at. You were true to yourself and that means everything. I hope and pray that you both will heal and move on. I'm sorry you're heart is hurting AND hers, but it is really life doing us a favor when it tells us there's something not right and it needs to be changed. This is not a failure. This is a recognition that life wants the best for you and for you to be happy. You did exactly the right thing. You made a very mature decision. I pray both your hearts will heal soon.

You know I never broke it up, but someone I love was taken for me. Different healing techniques work with different people. I'm sorry you were in that situation I always listen to music and try to read a good book. I used to take medication for everything but I stopped because I was harming myself and also numbing the pain.

I don't know. I only know that love does come around again

time, give it a time and you'll be putting it in someone new and calling it 'love' all over again

Only time will tell. Me, I just kept on until it doesn't affect me at all
