Females, what keeps you from asking out males?

thisusernameisgarbage · 26-30, M
I think most women think they’ll be perceived as sluts, that’s a misconception though.

I think the younger generation, certainly in some countries are more forward than they used to be in my day.. my generation we still tend to wait to be asked rather than do the asking.. it's just how we were raised..

I think, in some countries, where there is a strong desire for women to return to a time when they stayed home and raised kids, or where they feel threatened by equality... then this can cause regression.. as in women again might be in the position of feeling they have to leave it to men to ask.. there are a fair few men, and we see them often on here, who would feel threatened and put off by women doing the running

@scooogy wasnt sure what you mean by stop seeing a guy? I think most women would not want to lead a man on.. I read a post on here yesterday.. the guy felt the woman was using him.. wanted just friends.. and he didn't like that.. so many guys might feel it was misleading if she went for coffee with him.. they might then feel used or hard done by if she said thanks for the coffee but I wouldn't want to date..
Personally i see nothing wrong with going for a coffee.. but I do know from past, (lol when I was a bit younger and less ollllllld) that when I met men for coffee, they did tend to think I was up for more - just saying.. or maybe they were just being opportunistic... no harm in coffee, movies, etc.. but there's a line and I wouldn't want to use someone who hoped for more

I thought that my crush would have talked about me to her boyfriend's sister right after her female cousin told her I'd have a crush on her.

@Adaydreambeliever I thought that my crush would have talked about me to her boyfriend's sister right after her female cousin told her I'd have a crush on her.
It’s not proper would be my reason. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t consider it. It depends on the person and the relationship I have with them.

Why can't you call us Women? Females sounds like a dog. That childish mentality of yours is probably one reason we don't ask you out
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@Fernie Women sounds old to me.
CheshireCatalyst · 36-40, M
I asked around, and they said 'being referred to as females'
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@CheshireCatalyst I don't quite get that.
CheshireCatalyst · 36-40, M
@scooogy it makes dating sound like a science project.
scooogy · 31-35, MVIP
@CheshireCatalyst Now that sounds like females like to test us males.
BrattyMel · 31-35, F
I prefer females...
My Sire doesn't share... few guys would like the idea of Him growling "Mine" at them for some reason!!!
