You can't live like that. Trust until you have a solid reason not to. Believe what you are told until it is proven false. If you cannot trust, you shouldn't be in the partnership.

how do you know they aren't. I let my wife stay friends with her ex fiance her first lover. But not sue that was a good idea ever. I want jealous I was confident she loved me more and would be true. Throughout 40 years and then I kinda started looking back at all of it there were many times I was led to believe she was with girlfriends. Once told sometimes he was the only one she could turn to (this in the last 2 years) together were love notes from him or when we had trouble he encouraged her to get away from me. I hated him but then i realized it wasn't all (though i dont write notes to married women) all his fault she was encouraging him, doing something to make him think he still had a chance. But you got to let them go and they may not come back but if they do you're probably ok unless my story sounds familiar.

There's never any way to tell if anyone is being true to you. You trust people anyways because you care about them and should be able to handle lies.
Colourflame · 18-21, F
@Reject Yes I am not considering abandoning them. Im sure they have reasons to lie but I just want to know at least if they are lying
Reject · 26-30, M
@Colourflame Why is this so important to you? It's good to understand why you want things in life.

We only know when its too late and we are already fucked up.

@Colourflame Sorry. now just run away.
Colourflame · 18-21, F
@Reflection2 Or should I fight for a chance?

You can’t know 100% for sure. The only way to be confident in that is to trust your partner. But if you can’t trust him/her then trust your gut/intuition, don’t stay with someone you cannot trust, that’s already a partly broken relationship. Unless they have done it to you in the past then you have to just trust them.

You can never know for sure and if doubt sets in, its very much a domino effect of downfall from there.
If it is something you can talk to them about, do so.

If youre having doubts, check yourself first. Might be some insecurities hiding.

You don't at first. But, over time, it becomes clearer.
