We are still friends, we still love each other.....but we are no longer “in love with” each other.
There’s a big difference that these folks don’t seem to get.
We have each been happily married to other people for many years, and while we still care about each other (and probably always will), we have found love and families elsewhere.
We haven’t even seen each other face to face in many years, though we have communicated via internet and telephone.
