I think so, a man needs to be a man. Some guys like to sit back a little more than others but then you find women who end up taking the lead and making the man feel less than a man. And with those kind of men, you have to be careful not to walk all over him but, encourage him instead and boost his confidence.

I like a woman to be confident enough to state what she wants... And in certain situations TAKE what she wants.

But I'd not be comfortable if she was domineering all the time.

Edit - And in response to your poll... No, women cannot do anything men can, but nor can men do everything that women can. We have different strengths and weaknesses.

Thanks for BA...

Though admittedly there was not much competition, lol

Some men are insecure. But women have the right to do whatever she wants without apologies.

@Crazywaterspring Well, surely there are certain situations where she should apologise? 🤔

Like accidentally opening a cupboard door into his head for example

@Quizzical There's a line you don't cross out of respect for him.

Why can't he just be himself and handle life how he wants to?
MysteriousRose · 26-30, F
@SW-User So you mean as in if he wants to be walked all over, let it be that way?
SW-User
@MysteriousRose no I'm saying why try to narrow it down to one way or the other. Maybe he takes lead sometimes and maybe she takes lead other times. Maybe neither do and take a break. There's a lot of ways it can happen.

I think people are so varied even within the genders that there is no one size fits all answer for this question. What is important is that the leadership dynamic is adding to the relationship and not subtracting from it.
