Is it possible to crowd source the decisions for a successful marriage?

There is a growing sentiment that what we perceive as crowd sourcing is actually fringe sourcing. The crowd (overall) doesn t support things like kickstarter- only a small fringe does. Would that small fringe represented here train wreck a marriage or make it run smoothly?
