Guess what everyone? I have some sad news.

I love ice cream but don't think I can eat it anymore, because for whatever reason, it just makes my tummy angry. Oh well.

I feel ya. Anymore, icecream destroys me. But sometimes, just sometimes, I need to be destroyed

Sounds like lactose intolerance

If it's the dairy, maybe you should try some vegan options. Might end up liking them and hopefully they won't make your tummy angry
That's shocking. Eat frozen yogurt instead..

similar worlds said I'm way too nice and that they hate male strippers so I'm going on a massive shooting spree and all the deaths will be right on SW hands as they will have killed all of those people.

Try lactose free versions and see what happens. Do you have the same problem with other dairy products?
Rose0415 · 31-35, F
[@764286,Bushranger] Funny, it's mainly ice cream, but not so much other dairy products. I think it might have more to do with my IBS.
Bushranger · 61-69, M
[@1128378,Rose0415] With IBS, you might need a complete dietary change. Look up FODMAP, might be helpful.
Rose0415 · 31-35, F
[@764286,Bushranger] Ah, I will try that.

Ice cream is overrated anyways!

Consider lactose intolerance, where undigested lactose, due to having lost the enteral enzyme lactase will enter the large bowels where it’s fermented causing gas, bloating, also acid causing cramps.
Rose0415 · 31-35, F
[@1203332,AussieWhisperer] It may be the beginning of that. I sure hope not, though.
ever try lactaid pills - or yogurt?
Rose0415 · 31-35, F
[@15458,Usedtohaveanoffensiveusername] It's mainly ice cream, but not so much other dairy products which is the funny thing. Maybe I will try that, though.
[@1128378,Rose0415] hope it helps

Fiber will tighten up your loose ends
I totally understand. Lactose intolerance can be “persnickety”. I’ve gone for years able to have a scoop of ice cream now and then without incident, then suddenly it’s “oops, not this time”. Yogurt doesn’t bother my stomach for some reason, and nowadays there are non-dairy options that are actually pretty decent.

[@328496,bijouxbroussard] I was telling a couple of other commenters, that I don't really have issues with other dairy products at the moment. It's mainly just ice cream and may have to do with my IBS. Someone did just recommend Lactaid pills, which I think that I will try.
[@1128378,Rose0415] Yes, those pills are helpful. I don’t have a problem with all dairy, either. I can eat yogurt, cottage cheese and cheese with no trouble, and when I drink milk it’s generally fat-free. When I do have problems, it also tends to be with ice cream.
That's too sad... sorry to hear...
