Where's U.S. news coverage on Canada's First Nations?

My friend from Canada wqrote concerning the first nations protests on-going in Canada. I didn't see anything on the news feeds. It is on the net if you are aware of it, and there are articles about these issues. https://www.bing.com/search?q=first+nations+protests+in+canada&form=EDGEAR&qs=PF&cvid=4a033677d36f4e6a8f2184a4e7ee4449&cc=US&setlang=en-US&plvar=0&PC=DCTS

Not sure why the US would cover the story. Can'tada elected as soy boy as PM and said soy boy is quickly losing the country. Can'tada is in its death throws and many people are relieved that it is finally happening. Can'tada is an nation that refused to be.
I mean, I live in Canada and I don't see much on the news other than via rail had to cancel some trains from Toronto to Montreal because of some protests on the train tracks.
