Have you ever witnessed an explosion? 馃洟

BlueVeins22-25
Technically, yes. I've watched fireworks before. I remember one time as a youngin, my parents bought my brother an RC frisbee (?????) for Christmas and left it charging as we went to my grandma's. When we came home, there were ashes scattered all across the floor and chunks of the device. We had failed to heed a warning against charging the damn thing for too long, apparently.

Many years ago the Canadian army decided to test a 500 ton high explosive charge. I was a kid at the time and was up on a roof 200 miles away. I felt the shock wave hit me in the torso.

Oh, wow. That must have been scary for you. 馃槮

@zoech It was pretty cool! Just kind of a whump. I wondered what it was then remembered hearing about it on the radio that morning.

Yeah. I was driving home one night and saw these electrical transformers blowing up at a power station. They shot these bright blue chutes into the air that were mesmerizing. I thought it was the coolest thing I鈥檇 seen in a long time.....until I got home and realized that it was my power that got knocked out. It was a little less cool after that.

I was at a friend house at the time. Got a call to meet my mom at this one place. My friend he wanted to drive his truck for some reason. Even though the engine was acting up. We drop off my mom back to her car. We was following my mom back to town when we heard this huge sound even the front of the truck lift up. I am sure it was off of the ground for a moment. We was both pretty shaken up from it. Called My mom she turned around and came back to get us.

A girl in the chemistry lab next to let her distillation go dry and it made tnt. It blew up. Good thing she wore safety glasses. Part of the flask was embedded in it.

I've caused lots of explosions - I was a ore chute blaster in a mine. Cheers and happy weekend!

I saw a small plane go down in the woods as I drove by...went to investigate and came face to face with the cockpit engulfed in flames...the pilot was still in his seat....dead...and the creepiest thing was that the fife lifted one of his arms into the air.....I'll never lose that image in my head
