How far will Baby-trump be allowed to go in attempting to destroy the world for his own pleasure?

HerKing · 61-69, M
Not sure it's been mentioned on here but Putin's retaliation for the 12 Russian hackers (All GRU officers) is to say he wants to 'interview' a former American ambassador to Russia (Michael McFaul)...Ordinarily a POTUS and WH would tell Putin to go fuck himself...Instead they're 'looking at it'..

Let that sink in... A ruler who has journalists and political opponents murdered and imprisoned is wanting to have questioned a former US official (and eleven others) with dreamed up charges on Russian soil and the POTUS hasn't told him no way!

Next stop anyone Putin wants to 'interview'.

@HerKing and are not the “charges” some Trump friendly conspiracy theory about raising money for Hillary? You can’t make this stuff up. Well they did so I guess someone can....😊
HerKing · 61-69, M
@monte3 Yes, they were. McFaul has been accused of money laundering; Trump and Putin projection there-they're both clued up with money laundering.

Why more people are not more scared is my question.
monte3 · 70-79, M
It all depends on the mid-terms in my opinion. There is no limit as to what his party will condone

I spend a lot of time wondering how the Democratic Party has so alienated these people. And by these people I mean Walmart shopping pay check to paycheck people. They feel like victims, andFox pushes the idea, and they feel ignored and their values not respected.
I don’t have a solution
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@monte3 I keep thinking that is the solution. We need some way to offer these people who obviously feel pushed aside into "the tent," Ronald Reagan style. Not focusing on Reagan's policies, but his "tent opening" words, smile, and approach worked once. It can work again for the Democrats.

We need a Regan 😊. My Father is Turing over in his grave right now, but it is true. A problem is that the Democrats are stuck with some stuff like extreme environmentalists that make that hard

Hopefully seven more years

I spent a week in Norther MN with Grandkids and without internet. The issue up there is jobs. Specifically mining jobs the push back to expanding the mines is environmental concerns. I wa thinking about hierarchy of needs; these guys need jobs to feed their families. A-holes from the Twin Cities want pristine wilderness. You need both, of course, a-holes
Ike e are putting $ into their economy too. But if the party is hard on t he side of environment you lose these people.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@monte3 Yeah, but is there room for moderation? I think we do need some "safe spots" that remain pristine... but in moderation. Society needs jobs, but I'm not sure digging for coal makes much sense anymore just like bringing back jobs to make top hats would serve much useful purpose.
monte3 · 70-79, M
I love the idea of moderation and morn it’s demise. I agree that society decisions are complex. We do need a balance I would not be going to Norther MN to see open pit mines. MN iron mining is a bit different from coal. Which we all agree is and should be dying
