I have several favorites. I love the common loon for its haunting tremolos and wails on cool, clean northern lakes. I love the canyon wren for its lyrical call in the wilderness canyons of the desert southwest.

@windinhishair My dad said a loon chased him and my mom on their honeymoon. I think they were in a boat.

@ProfessorPlum77 They were probably defending nearby young. They will do that if they believe their young are threatened.
