I Thought Of You Today
Today:
I woke up at 6:30 and I thought of you. I decided against texting to early. I was reading and all of a sudden the phone rings. I see your picture flash on my phone. My heart immediately jumps at the thought of hearing your voice. I wonder if other people feel the same way as I do. It's been 3 years since we have met and been together.
I know you hear in my voice my smile and happiness as I pick up the phone and say "Hello!" You answering in your typical way.
We talk for over an hour. Time flies and soon you have to head out as I have to as well. We say our good byes for now.
I jump in the shower and I get that special notification sound I have set for you. I smile and immediately reply back to you. There begins our messages back and forth. I request a pic later as you know I will. I sent you one. You reply: "That dress looks great on you! You look great!" texting continues. I am at a dress shop and I find this gorgeous navy blue short outfit. The back is completely exposed, the sleeves are long but the outfit have a slit all the way from the shoulder to the middle of my arm, cinched at the waist with a belt and I immediately take a pic to get your opinoin. You say "I think it looks good on you. It's unusual." So I buy it.
My closet is full of clothes that I know he will appreciate. He loves that I take the time to dress and think of him.
The rest of the day goes on. Finally I make it home.
I can't help but to think of him tonight. I wish i was close to him. I know he will contact me soon. I look forward to that moment.
