Should I get vaccine shot? What’s your thoughts on vaccine?

Personally, I just don’t trust vaccine intuitively. Because I’m not a doctor to tell if it’s safe, and I don’t trust doctors as well . They seem they don’t even realize what are the effects of it can be. They follow orders , trust their institutions.

I don’t want to get vaccinated because I don’t know what damn that vaccine is consisted of . What are the chemicals and how , what are they exactly going to my body and most importantly mind. How people are blindly allowing strangers to touch their body and getting vaccinated is insane. I’m just so sad . Is Bill Gates behind all of this? What a satan

It accomplishes it through the RNA or “messenger DNA”. The science behind it is incredible. The side effects are very low, one out of a million have anything close to serious complications. Don’t look at trump as an example. He got the very best of care and ran off to his helicopter because he was told it would kill him if he didn’t get care.
600,000 died from Covid even with all of the precautions because people didn’t take it serious but played politics. I got the Moderna two shot and got sore muscles and a small fever but thrilled I have 95% protection from catching it and 100% coverage of nothing serious if I caught it. I am so glad trump wasn’t around when the Ebola virus attacked Africa. It would have been in the U.S. for sure and it was even scarier.
fun4us2b · M
@Pfuzylogic Ironically Trump stood behind and took the credit for rapid vaccine development (there is truth in this), and he got vaccinated (even after having COVID) and then said he's a great believer in the vaccine and that he doesn't get enough credit...So there's a definite bit of mixed messaging going on amongst Republicans...nothing new in politics....
Pfuzylogic · M
@fun4us2b
It would be so easy for him to support the vaccine. He never does in a way that his base listen to. Maybe I’d he told them that they would need to get vaccinated or they will lose this country !
fun4us2b · M
@Pfuzylogic I agree - I guess he felt and feels (by doing the right thing) he'd lose too many votes. He's not leading, he's being led. Also nothing new in politics...
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Um did you receive vaccines as a baby? It's no different.

I had my Covid vaccine and I'm absolutely fine. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I got myself vaccinated. Its perfectly fine
I do not want to "spread misinformation ", I do ponder how could a vaccine possibly protect against an airborne virus that attacks the respiratory system, that logic escapes me completely.
AbbySvenz · F
Vaccines prompt your immune system to generate antibodies, which help certain cells target and eliminate foreign bacteria and viruses/ viral-infected host cells, which is how you get better. By having those recognition markers in your immune systems arsenal ahead of time, your immune response is faster, which gets your body fighting off the infection all the faster@checkoutanytime
@checkoutanytime Nuclear energy probably don't exist either, huh? Cause you don't know how that works. Right?

I look at it that way..If I get f**ed up by covid, I get f**ed up by nature. If I get f**ed up by vaccine I get force-f**ed by society which I would never be able to forgive and reconcile with. I'd like to see what effects does the vaccine have on people with the autoimmune disease I have first. If I were healthy, I wouldn't make so much fuss about it but I am at point when I'm glad it's not as bad as it could be and I don't want to give my body reasons to make it worse. Perhaps by developing another autoimmune disease by messing with my immune system. All that while there's another mutation on the way that is possibly immune to existing vaccines anyway...so by the worst case scenario, I might get f**ed and for nothing.

@geoam1 Some people believe it so I couldn't tell. Not small enough to fit in a needle
Viper · M
@Rolexeo I think they do have that technology already, it's just absolutely stupid expensive, and only use it for the absolute highest priority. Like if someone tried to steal from Fort Knox they could be sprayed with nano bot trackers. But if the potential item isn't worth multi millions they wouldn't even consider it as it's too expensive.
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
Looks to me that the chances of something bad happening to you is worse if you don't get the vaccine than if you do. When that delta variant gets here, actually it already is, it is going to rip through the vaccinated and result in a lot of unnecessary suffering and death.
Viper · M
@Subsumedpat I agree, just pointing out at least we know where one of the stats was coming from, while the other was seemingly being pulled out of his @$$
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@Viper He was so proud of himself at saying it is 99.99 % survivable. Of course that is wrong it is the 98% range but he forgets what that means. over 33 million people have been infected with the virus and over 600,000 have died. Not to mention that life is about more than no simply dying, lord knows how many long covid cases there are out there as well as other horrible impacts on people and families it has had. There is a common thread in people who minimize the virus and display the attitudes he has, they are selfish, very selfish.
Viper · M
@Subsumedpat they're also saying some have lived but gotten permanent damage as well
Natureismagical · 26-30, F
@BetweenKittensandRiots I wish I was someone that important they need to track me down 😂
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
I'm gonna tell people I took it so they leave me the fuck alone already.
Magenta · F
@Rolexeo Right?! Never seen so many preachers, virtue signalers and coercers in my fecking life.
walabby · 61-69, M
Without vaccines, 40% of all kids born never made it past two years old. Without vaccines, Yellow Fever would still be killing thousands of Americans every year. How many people refuse to be vaccinated but allow tattooists to put ink in their bodies that has God knows what in it?
Do what you want.
Natureismagical · 26-30, F
@walabby I know people who never got vaccinated in their life and still fine
walabby · 61-69, M
@Natureismagical Sure, because there are enough vaccinated people in the community to stop disease from spreading. Those unvaccinated people are depending on the vaccinated ones to keep them healthy.
JoePourMan · 61-69, M
Get the Covid-19 vaccination. 100s of millions of doses have been safely given.
Confined · 56-60, M
We really have no idea what the long
term consequences will be. I cant afford heart inflimation or other issues. I dont get paid any hazzard pay, so no money for emergency medical.
@AbbySvenz One of them is being dead for a long, long, long time.
AbbySvenz · F
I was counting that as a short-term side effect though….@anythingoes477
@AbbySvenz Being dead isnt exactly short term. ;-)
Let me guess....you don't eat chicken nuggets or hot dogs either, huh? Because of course you don't know what's in those either. Right?

Sounds like your mind is already made up... so what's the point in asking for opinions?

But it seems like everyone is going to get the Covid antibodies one way or the other... either via vaccine shot or actually catching Covid-19 itself.

Which one is more likely to put you in the hospital? 🏥 Seems like it's quite clearly Covid-19 itself...

But of course you don't trust anyone's opinion, so it's just going to go back to your opinion.
Is Bill Gates behind all of this? What a satan
And that's quite a thought opinion, which again, some funds like your mind is already made up.
For a year society had to fear COVID.........now society fears carriers like you who refuse to care if you get sick--or anyone around u does............because of some FB meme you read or some garbage you heard from someone with a political agenda about how the vaccine is bad for you. Get sick.....die....if you want. Those with shots don't have compassion anymore for people like you. Just fear.
@anythingoes477 will you cheer like the Germans when we’re rounded up and shot..
that media driven hate sure worked on you huh?

Natureismagical · 26-30, F
@soar2newhighs you sound like the most reasonable person out of all these ..😅
@Natureismagical Thank you...
th3r0n · 41-45, M
No, among worse things that most wouldn’t believe anyway, the Red Cross won’t take blood from anyone who had the vaccine saying it destroys antibodies meaning you would be vulnerable to everything and likely die in the next couple years
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@AbbySvenz as last I read, there was a statement from them

Could have been changed at some point, what was the source for the quote you just posted? Their website?
AbbySvenz · F
It was from their site, but here is further clarification(I couldn’t get this part of the site to work earlier):
There is no deferral time for eligible blood donors who are vaccinated with an inactivated or RNA based COVID-19 vaccine manufactured by AstraZeneca, Janssen/J&J, Moderna, Novavax, or Pfizer.

Eligible blood donors who received a live attenuated COVID-19 vaccine or do not know what type of COVID-19 vaccine they received must wait two weeks before giving blood.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@AbbySvenz I have my suspicions that they were forced to change that, but thank you for the update
I am fully vaccinated and had 0 side effects. Don't believe me? here's my vaccine card.

dont bother telling me I should take this image down btw I have no fucks to give about people on here knowing my full name and date of birth.

all that info is info I leak myself all the time anyways.
@BetweenKittensandRiots Is it of such size it can be laminated yet still show the info needed?
Seems you already made up your mind.
My thoughts: 1. What vaccine 2. Is it tested/ proved 3. How administered ( where? Arm, buttocks or other?- I had, though no longer given that way, in my stomach as a kid 21 rabies shots. 4. Find out as much as you can about any after affects. Ask questions! Just my thoughts. But you do what’s best for you.
SkeetSkeet · 100+, F
People be getting dicked down by some random dudes but be scared to have a vaccine in them
@SkeetSkeet you nailed it. Lol
Natureismagical · 26-30, F
@SkeetSkeet two different story.
I didn't push to be one of the first, but if I apply occaams razor, I can either trust the [majority of the] medical community and get it, or there's a level of incompetence and/or malevolence at work that makes any meaningful resistance pointless, futile, and near impossible. I got my shots.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
Ask your doctor
TenderHeart · 46-50, F
Yes you should.
Yet you prob. hop in a car and trust the street lights that they are timed right - and trust that someone obeys the traffic laws. Do what U want - you are an adult. Talk to your doctor if you want.
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
Take the vaccine or else 🔫
Natureismagical · 26-30, F
@MURD3RM0NK3Y what you mean??
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
@Natureismagical it means you have no choice
Natureismagical · 26-30, F
@MURD3RM0NK3Y stupid
fun4us2b · M
I took it to feel safe from COVID. I am so glad to have it behind me.
Natureismagical · 26-30, F
@lovelywarpedlemon what’s funny
@Natureismagical what people choose to be skeptical of
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
The only intrinsic problem with this popular argument is that I doubt we know with any kind of certainty everything that goes in our bodies anyway. However, having the choice to vax or not is important. Me? I don't know of anyone who died of the vax but I DO know someone who died of COVID. That's my math.
