I Hate Being Ignored

I'll be talking to my mother and I'll ask her a question and she'll just turn around and start walking away without answering the question. I know that her hearing is bad, so I'll ask her if she heard me. She frequently says that she heard me, but didn't understand what I said.

If she didn't understand me, then why didn't she ask me to repeat myself? Sure it's annoying, but it's definitely better than ignoring me and walking away!!!!
