Which computer would you never suggest to anyone?

For me it's DELL.

I say that because they have a pathetic policy when it comes to faulty parts. They will replace your faulty part with a refurbished part. It won't be new. It will probably be a part from another faulty laptop.

In the span of 3 years, I've got my 3 HDD's, 6 LCD's and 2 adaptor bricks replaced under warranty with refurbished parts.

Apple is the only computer brand I would reliably recommend. PC users are out of luck as far as good customer service and repair policies.

@SW-User I agree but they do charge an exorbitant price for the repair. Linus tech tips and rossman made a video about that.
@Beatbox34 Apples does business like that.

Repair cost will make you go for new one sooner , so it's repeat business.

I have a HP laptop which is still running after 9years, never had a issue.

I have seen people still having really old IBM laptops that is working fine.

@HopelessGuy I've had a good experience with HP too. They haven't been an issue at all.

My first PC was a Dell. The hard drive had to be replaced within 3 months. I'll never buy another. Total junk.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@hunkalove They are indeed junk.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
I had a Dell laptop several years ago. In addition to blue screens all the time, the original charger died when the laptop was only 10 months old.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@SubstantialKick I did the blunder of buying the product without doing my research and this is exactly what I read. Complaints everywhere around the world and they will not take an action for their shitty devices.

HP, Apple. Both overexpensive and delicate af. Just looking at them wrong will break them 😬

LENOVO

Poor quality.

I build my own PCs typically and recommend others do the same.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Beatbox34 I've got currently a Clevo (notebook barebone, you have a good range of customization/assembly options). Primarily code and seldom game as well.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@basilfawlty89 I built a PC a couple of years ago with an MSI board and for the time period it was a beast.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@Elessar Interesting. I may have a look at that.
I agree. I had nothing but trouble with my Dell. Before I bought my MacBook, I was using HP, which I liked much better than Dell.

@bijouxbroussard I wonder how they'll keep up with this business model.
