Which computer would you never suggest to anyone?

For me it's DELL.

I say that because they have a pathetic policy when it comes to faulty parts. They will replace your faulty part with a refurbished part. It won't be new. It will probably be a part from another faulty laptop.

In the span of 3 years, I've got my 3 HDD's, 6 LCD's and 2 adaptor bricks replaced under warranty with refurbished parts.

I build my own PCs typically and recommend others do the same.

@basilfawlty89 I personally prefer that but laptops can be a nuisance. I've never bought a desktop from a manufacturer ever and I won't.

@Beatbox34 oh definitely. For PCs Dell laptops are great. Macs are also decent, but expensive.

Typically I game and code, so I need more power than a laptop usually can offer, although I might buy laptop just for work.

@basilfawlty89 I understand. I game too and code. I've been thinking to get a ROG or an MSI.

@Beatbox34 MSI is decent. My motherboard is MSI and I have no complaints.

@Beatbox34 I've got currently a Clevo (notebook barebone, you have a good range of customization/assembly options). Primarily code and seldom game as well.

@basilfawlty89 I built a PC a couple of years ago with an MSI board and for the time period it was a beast.

@Elessar Interesting. I may have a look at that.
