Which computer would you never suggest to anyone?

For me it's DELL.

I say that because they have a pathetic policy when it comes to faulty parts. They will replace your faulty part with a refurbished part. It won't be new. It will probably be a part from another faulty laptop.

In the span of 3 years, I've got my 3 HDD's, 6 LCD's and 2 adaptor bricks replaced under warranty with refurbished parts.

Apple is the only computer brand I would reliably recommend. PC users are out of luck as far as good customer service and repair policies.

@SW-User Acer and HP have better policies.

Isn't Apple against getting your device "repaired"?

@Beatbox34 They make it difficult to repair it yourself or get it repaired by a third-party repair service (and that is a valid criticism), but when I've had devices repaired directly by them it's always gone smoothly.

@SW-User I agree but they do charge an exorbitant price for the repair. Linus tech tips and rossman made a video about that.
@Beatbox34 Apples does business like that.

Repair cost will make you go for new one sooner , so it's repeat business.

I have a HP laptop which is still running after 9years, never had a issue.

I have seen people still having really old IBM laptops that is working fine.

@HopelessGuy I've had a good experience with HP too. They haven't been an issue at all.
