I Believe a Good Sense of Humor Is Important

I think it's better to deliver the joke and let the recipient decide whether it is funny to them or not without being prompted to laugh. I would also hate to be introduced to an audience as someone who is really funny. Don't give out those unreal expectations. Humour is in the eyes and ears of the beholder. And it is as diverse and individually nuanced as say, tastes in music.
