I Have Deep Thoughts

Here’s a serious thing that’s been troubling me..you know how in nature women birds are always simple and boring and the male birds are always brightly coloured with plumage and shit to attract the boring women birds..but in humans the opposite appears to be the case. We have to do all the sodding maintenance work..
Well I’m with the wrens..I aint putting on lipstick and I’m gonna be wearing a hessian sack for all eternity...So if you want it, come and Cockadoodle at me for a change wearing a brightly coloured feather boa and a nice big tail.

That’s about it really.

I'd say it evens out.

Yeah women may have more outward "plumage" (as in appearance), but I feel like men are the ones that actually have to have [i]substance[/i] to them.

Men have to be worth something financially, mentally, socially, in order for women to be interested.

Whereas all females have to do is look half decent and be available. No societal pressure on them whatsoever to actually be good at anything or have any sort of a skillset.

I guess im just disappointed that in this day and age some socities still see gender roles so clear cut.
