Have you been in love, how did you experience it

Lots of different definitions out there exploring what love looks and feels like, is it the most powerful human emotion? Does love expire, are we able to love more than one person, what roles do the heart and mind have in love, is it purely physiological, when should we welcome love, when should we refuse, is it possible to live without loving? Would love to read every one's thoughts..

We are able to love more than one person, but perhaps in different ways.

I have a friend with whom I used to live...for a little over a year...and he hurt me terribly. I loved him, so I was willing to accept a life with him still in it...as a distant friend who will not be touching me again.

I care about him today, worry about him, and if and when he dies I will be crushed. He annoys the hell out of me, is probably my worst choice in a man ever, and that is really saying something. 🤣
