Do you like the Dr. Pepper/Cream Soda combo?

The more I drink, the better I like it.

I like the flavor but I don’t drink those drinks any more. They flush minerals out of my body, I have to take potassium, magnesium, zinc, & calcium as it is and don’t want to lose any from soft drinks. I get leg cramps and heart palpitations etc. when I get low on minerals. If I want to drink something fizzy it’s usually Club soda and once in awhile I get a root beer.

@ProfessorPlum77 Have read that low magnesium levels are the number one reason for emergency room visits. But doctors won’t tell you about magnesium until you have your heart beating out of rhythm and they admit you for 4-5 days running every kind of test and magically on the very last day they decide to run a magnesium test and sure enough it’s a low magnesium level. Then they tell you to take an over-the-counter magnesium when you go home. When I was working as a greeter at Walmart about 8 years ago a lady told me this happened to her. I remember back to my aunt who was admitted to the hospital and on the very last day they ran a thyroid test and found out that was why her heart was beating too slow...not that you couldn’t tell by her thinning hair and dry skin etc that maybe her thyroid was low. I caught on to the games of the medical doctors after that. When the hospital was very full of people with the flu etc in the winter they would give her the bum’s rush and release her very quickly but during other times of the year they’d keep her up to 5 days.

@ProfessorPlum77 A few years ago I was having leg cramps that woke me several times at night & sometimes I would fall down during the daytime, it felt like a wire was wrapped tight around my leg...and the pain was horrible. I figured maybe a mineral imbalance but wasn’t for sure. As we age it’s harder to absorb minerals and if we drink coffee, tea, certain soft drinks or anything else with caffeine in it then they can block or flush the minerals out. Also I lose minerals when i sweat in the summer. I started taking magnesium and that helped, and calcium & potassium. Just this last few months it seems I need more potassium, used to if I had a banana a day it was sufficient but now taking 2 potassiums per day (1 before sleeping) so I don’t wake up with leg cramps.

I can't find it in diet. I'd try it but I'm a diabetic.
