I Love Old Movies

I guess a movie made in 1968 would be considered old, as one made in '03, might be looked at as 'becoming' old. I cite "The Lion in Winter". '68, Peter O'Toole/Katharine Hepburn. '03, Patrick Stewart and Glen Close. Both IMO are outstanding, each just a bit different with their own respective nuances.

I havent seen the Stewart/Close one, but it's really hard to imagine anyone standing up to Hepburn's performance.

I'm prejudiced toward Hepburn, but if you watch the remake, Close gives a great performance as does Stewart, and for me, in Close, Katharine "was" there.@firefall
