@Loretta78 My favorite silent movie is Chaplin's "The Gold Rush". But Dreyer's "The Passion of Joan of Arc" is also great.
To call me favorite [i]old[/i] movie is more difficult - some peope call movies from 1970 old, other such from 1920...
