Happy Marriage?

5 months and we're still like newlyweds

They are still very much a thing. My wife and I have been happily married since 1990.

I have happy moments in my marriage. I'm not happy in every moment. We have plenty of disagreements and most of the time it's just neutral. That's how I see most relationships being. For me, happy makes up the high moments in our relationship. We also have low and everything in between. I think it's unrealistic to maintain that high all of the time.

Still a thing

Still happy after 40 years of marriage and 8 years of dating before we got married. I know lots of younger folks who are happily married, too.

Yes it’s still a thing. It’s much harder to achieve nowadays though.

well i can't speak for everyone, but personally i think they're a thing of the past. I was married 27 years, and thought it was a happy one. then she walked right out the door, and sent me a message on facebook wanting a divorce.

20 years

Very happy

For five years it was ok but when the childhood abuse stuff came up it went downhill. Hung on for eight more years but had PTSD at the end.

Covid certainly puts a strain on a relationship.

I wish I had that

I know of several. Mine, though relatively short, was very happy.
