Question about putting a picture on here

Mine do that too. I use an iPad mini. I have figured out if I do a screen shot of the photo and post that, it comes out right.

I think pictures only come out side ways when they're to long/wide...

Crop a little

I think it does that when they are too big. I've noticed that if I crop them they fit but not all of the pictures I take do that and I use the same device so I don't know.

I read on another post if you do something to it, brighten it etc. anything to edit it, then it will turn right side.

it's a camera setting formatting glitch . if you post a screenshot of the pic it's fine

There's an app for smart phones called "Rotate Mailer" that automatically posts any photo you take (even a photo of a photo) upright when you send it to your computer. Since I use it I've had no more sideways photos.
