What does it mean if a mentally ill person makes more money than you?

Mental illness doesn't effect intelligence. If they are able to function they can do anything.

Why would that have anything to do with you?
Someone wise once said that you only need to look at another's people plate to check if they have enough, so you can give them some of yours if they need it. But, you don't look to compare what they have with yours.
Doing it is just recipe for trouble.
Your comparison is the person you are now and the person you were before. Always aim to beat them, not others.

Define mentally ill? Lot of wealthy psycopaths out there. Being empathy deficient tends to be a strength in business and upper management.

Their struggles may have made them more resilient & more capable in certain avenues of life.
