Do insulated thermal bottles sweat?

jomsim · 26-30, M
They should sweat a lot less, but where the insulating vacuum is cooler than the surface of the bottle and there's humidity in the external air, it will always condense on the surface of the bottle to form what looks like sweat.

The only way you'll stop that is to have the water in the bottle at exactly the same temperature as the air around the bottle (and wait until the vacuum reaches that temperature too).

Although certain materials that don't conduct heat well (like rubber or cork) can help too if the bottle is covered with them.
