Is six cups of coffee a day excessive?

I usually drink about this many daily
midnightrose · F Best Comment
Seems excessive to me but I don't drink coffee. How big is the cup?
Rusham · M
Medium to big. @midnightrose
@Rusham This is what I found:
•When they talk about the benefits they mean black coffee (no milk, creamer, or sugar).
•About 400 mgs is the amount of caffeine for healthy adults. Less if you're caffeine sensitive.
•If you're feeling jittery, irritable or nauseous that could mean you've reached your limit.
•An study in Australia found that
"In order to maintain a healthy heart and a healthy blood pressure, people must limit their coffees to fewer than six cups a day – based on our data six was the tipping point where caffeine started to negatively affect cardiovascular risk,” says Hyppönen.

“Knowing the limits of what’s good for you and what’s not is imperative. As with many things, it’s all about moderation; overindulge and your health will pay for it,” Hyppönen concludes.
Thank you for taking the time to research that. @midnightrose

Nah, it's actually good for your liver and some other things, as long as it's not full of sugar. :)

Just milk and no sugar. @thepreposterouspanda

You're going to develop a caffeine addiction if you haven't already. The withdraw is going to be evil if you ever decide quit, or even cut back.

That's about what I drink most days. It probably is excessive, but I really don't care.
I’m not a coffee drinker but some people’s addiction to it is freighting
You and me both ☕

Now I'm curious r we going to spontaneously combust?
